Springmaid Mountain is located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. The property is surrounded by rich natural landscape and the North Toe River. The cabins are furnished with décor to reflect our mountain town and cabin theme. The cabins are intended to blend and coexist with nature, meaning we do have wild animals outside and the occasional small animal (flies, mosquito, etc.) that try to get inside the cabin. All cabins are treated for pest monthly and on an as-needed basis for such critters. Keep in mind we do our best to eliminate unwanted pests yet try to stay in harmony with nature. All cabins have electricity, plumbing and other modern-day conveniences, yet with the feeling of being close to nature and enjoying a natural setting. Bring along your desire to unwind and relax from the fast pace life throws at us and you will not be disappointed.
Yes, all cabins have either electric or gas heat. Most cabins also have gas logs as a relaxing alternative.
The cabins are located throughout the property with as much space as possible for privacy. The Trillium Mountain Complex has 2 efficiencies and a 3-bedroom suite all located under the same roof, meaning these are not as private as other cabins. The River’s Edge Cabins are duplex units that can be rented either together or separate meaning you can rent a top level or bottom level. If you pick the 4-bedroom option you will have the top and bottom levels together with interior doors that can be unlocked for easy access to both levels. All other cabins are stand-alone cabins, so they are more private.
If it is a true emergency, call 911 and give the physical address of the cabin. Address is located on the refrigerator of each cabin. For non-life-threatening emergencies, please call the office number and leave a detailed message.
