River & Pond Fishing at Springmaid Mountain

The fishing options at Springmaid Mountain offer a challenge to all ages and abilities. If you forgot your rod and reel, ask for a loaner in the main office. Please keep in mind that supplies are limited.
Pond Fishing
Springmaid Mountain boasts five ponds stocked with trout, catfish, bluegill and bass. Bring your gear and bait. No fishing license is required for pond fishing. Purchase a 24-hour fishing pass in the office or via the link provided for $5.
Trout caught in our stocked posts cost an additional $5 each.
River Fishing
With more than half a mile of riverfront property on the North Toe River, all ages and abilities find enjoyment in casting a line. Serious anglers will enjoy hooking local mountain trout.
