Springmaid Splash

The adventure and excitement of Springmaid Splash returns! Springmaid Mountain, sister property to the Anne Springs Close Greenway, will host this event. The beautiful trails of Springmaid Mountain combined with the event-planning experts from the Greenway^℠ will create a one-of-a-kind experience!

Runners will cross the North Toe River four times, so get ready to make a splash! Hang out after the race for live music, free breakfast and access to the Springmaid Mountain property. Rent a tube to float the river, fish in the stocked pond, or say hello to the horses!

Camping:

Make memories when you stay the weekend! Enjoy the free field camping that is included for all race registrants, so bring your friends or family and a tent!

Course:

Please note that the race course is an out-and-back in parts (particularly for the 5K) to allow us to cross the river multiple times.

FREE field camping is available to all race participants, so bring your friends, food, sleeping bags and a tent to experience the weekend to its fullest!

Field camping check-in begins after 3pm on Friday, Sept. 13. Field campers check-out is before 11am Sunday.

New for 2024: individual accommodations are available in the Bunkhouse! The Bunkhouse features four small, semi-private rooms (one set of bunkbeds in each room) and four large group rooms (four sets of bunkbeds in each room) for a total of 20 bunkbeds. The bunkhouse is equipped with a washer/dryer and four shared bathrooms. Reservations are $35 per bed (including both the top and bottom bunk). Call Springmaid Mountain at 828-765-2353 to reserve your bunk.

Our events run rain or shine unless there is severe weather.

While we never want to cancel a race, in situations such as tornado warnings, thunderstorms, heavy and persistent rain etc., we will need to cancel. Should we cancel, you will be notified via social media, website and email. There will be no refunds as that money has already been put toward the race, unless you've chosen to purchase a refund protection plan during registration.

Otherwise, race registration is non-refundable. More than two weeks out you may transfer your race registration to another competitor or to another Greenway race of equal or lesser value. All transfers are at the discretion of the Race Director.
